Safety First

Safety First, Always

At True North Personnel, safety is at the core of every placement. We know the Territory can be a challenging place to work — remote conditions, high-risk environments, and fast-moving projects mean safety can’t be an afterthought. Every worker we supply is vetted, prepared, and aligned with your site standards before they arrive.

A True Safety Partnership

We work closely with employers to understand your safety expectations, systems, and culture. Our approach is collaborative — clear requirements, transparent communication, and shared responsibility to ensure safe outcomes for your team and ours.

Pre-Site Safety Inspections

Before supplying workers to a new site, we complete a pre-site safety review to identify hazards, PPE requirements, access points, plant interactions, and emergency processes. This ensures our people arrive aware, compliant, and ready to work safely.

Prepared, Screened, and Job-Ready

Each candidate is thoroughly screened, including licence and ticket verification, safety history checks, medicals and drug/alcohol testing (as required), and an assessment of their attitude toward safe work.

Site-Specific Induction Support

We ensure all workers complete both our induction and yours — covering general safety principles, Territory risks, and your project’s procedures, expectations, and protocols.

Ongoing Safety Support

Our involvement doesn’t end at mobilisation. We maintain regular check-ins with workers and supervisors, respond quickly to any issues, and stay proactive to ensure safe performance throughout the assignment.
